Peter Lu's Freshman Mushroom Project plunges attendees into the heart of a discomforting, autobiograpical live performance that examines sexuality.

Project: Freshman features new students Elliott Winter, Sarah Riordan and Brianna "Bri" Lagat-Ramos, as they embark on college life at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Exclusively sponsored by AT&T, each student was given a video camera to document their personal experience - the good, the bad and the ugly. For 13 weeks, Project: Freshman will showcase the lives of these three teens from different parts of the country, as they begin their first semester away from home.

It depicts the challenge of outsiders of a college to become insider.

A teacher and a student are at war about their differences. Thank God, they are of the opposite gender, so there's a chance for them to put the differences aside.

The staff of the printing house went to the whole team for mushrooms. As they set out on their way back, they noticed that one woman was missing. Colleagues easily believed that she had left earlier in a passing car, and drove home themselves. In fact, the woman stayed in the forest.

Freshman Year is a 14 part documentary series from HBO that followed students during their 9th grade or Freshman Year (1999-2000) at Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth California. The series followed students to get an inside look at how they dealt with their first year of high school and the challenges and adventures they experienced. Some of the students they followed were: Jason Cassel, the jock who was expected to live up to the Cassel family legacy of sports excellence. Jamie Kim, a Korean American student who was elected class president. Josh Levine who hoped high school would be a change from 8th grade where he was picked on for being the “nerd“. There were other students as well, one who was trying to get in the modeling world, another who did not care for her studies and was making bad choices. It followed different types of students to try and get the full experience of freshman year.

In this 100% fictional-plot short a fictional freshman, played by an actor named Don Tomkins), becomes smitten with and writes letters to a singer, Ruth Etting (Ruth Etting), on a fictional radio station. His fictional 1930s nerdy friends take her answering letters in return and torment him about no response. The fictional Ruth Etting (played by the real Ruth Etting) meets him and helps him turn the tables on his tormentors.
